Dos poemas | Sophia Jamali Soufi

Adaptability

In the influx of night

Your body adapts to me

Every part of my being is stained

with your smell

I kiss your wounds

I embrace your pains

And i weave poetry for you

in my dreams

in the midst of separation

What can not be said

Only kisses understand…

Salve

Your eyes are the opening of light between darkness and night

hold me in your arms

Let your lips wrap in mine

And let your hands cover my whole being

Let the body rest on the body

And kisses heal wounds…
